The Draft
Draft Night Rules:
- Goalies will randomly pick a team from a hat.
- Whichever goalie picks the Dough Boys will have the first pick in the draft. Lobster Rollers will go 2nd, Clam Diggers 3rd, Brew Masters 4th, Fightin Pilgrims 5th, Green Monsters last. The draft rotation will then rotate backwards - so Green Monsters, then Fighting Pilgrims, Brew Masters, Clam Diggers, Lobster Rollers, then Dough Boys. So it will roll 1-6, 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 until all players are picked.
- The first draft picks will then make the next pick in the draft. Then the 2nd round picks will make the next picks, and so on. This assures every player has input to the league and the team they are on. So draft attendance is highly encouraged to make this work. If you cannot attend on draft day, then your pick will go back to the goalie.
- Once all picks are made, each team will have 3 minutes to pick a captain.
- Team captains and rosters will be posted to the website immediately following the draft.
- Food and beverages will be provided on draft night - hope to see EVERYONE there!
