The Draft

Draft Process & Team Selection

Goalies from each division will randomly select a team from a hat, starting with the High-Tide Division. The goalie who picks the Danglers will receive the first pick in the High-Tide draft, followed by the Lobster Rollers (2nd), Lot Lizards (3rd), and Dough Boys (4th). For the Low-Tide Division, the goalie who selects the Green Monsters will have the first pick in the Low-Tide draft, followed by the Clam Diggers (2nd), Brew Masters (3rd), and Fightin' Pilgrims (4th).

Draft Rotation

The draft will follow a snake format:

• High-Tide Division: 1-2-3-4, then 4-3-2-1, and so on.
• Low-Tide Division: 1-2-3-4, then 4-3-2-1, and so on.

This process will continue until all players have been selected.

Player Involvement & Draft Attendance

To ensure every player has a say in their team, the first-round picks will make the second-round selections, the second-round picks will make the third-round selections, and so on. Attendance at the draft is highly encouraged to participate in the selection process.

• If a player cannot attend, their pick will revert to their team’s goalie.
• As a bonus, the last player selected in each division will receive a $30 gift card to the Top Shelf Bistro.

Team Captains & Final Roster Announcement

Once all picks are made, each team will have 5 minutes to select a captain. Team captains and full rosters will be posted on the league website immediately following the draft.
