Introducing the Summer Slacker Draft League!

We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Men's Summer Hockey League Experience - The Summer Slacker Draft League! Designed to bring players of all skill levels together for a fun, competitive, and action-packed skate every week. Join us as we kick off the season at our draft night, where you'll have the opportunity to hang out with other players, have some food and drinks, and get drafted on to one of our six teams which will play together every Sunday night throughout the Summer. 

Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the ice, our league is open to players of all skill levels. Our main focus is on creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone to enjoy the game of hockey. Registration for skaters will be a capped at 84 (14 per team).  Goalies will play at no cost. 

The excitement begins on draft night, where team Captains will select players to form their squads and you will receive a reversible SSDL Uniform with the name and number of your choice. The draft night will be held on April 25th, 2024 at Lovell Arena.  

Games will take place at Lovell Arena at 6:00, 7:10, & 8:20pm on Sunday nights from May 12th, 2024 - August 25th, 2024. Each team will play against the other five teams on a rotating schedule, ensuring everyone has a chance to face off against different opponents. Our experienced organizers, timekeepers, and referees are committed to ensuring a smooth and fair experience throughout the league. Their expertise will guarantee well-structured games and proper adherence to rules.
