Introducing the Summer Slacker Draft League!
The League:
We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Men's Summer Hockey League Experience - The Summer Slacker Draft League! Designed to bring players of all skill levels together for a fun, competitive, and action-packed skate every week. Join us as we kick off the season at our draft night, where you'll have the opportunity to hang out with other players, have some food and drinks, and get drafted on to one of our eight teams which will play together every Sunday night throughout the Summer.
All Skill Levels Welcome:
Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the ice, our league is open to players of all skill levels. Our main focus is on creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone to enjoy the game of hockey. Registration for skaters will be a capped at 112 (14 per team). Goalies will pay a reduced cost of $100
Draft Night:
The excitement begins on draft night where team Goalies will begin to select players to form their squads. The draft night will be held on April 18th, 2025, at Lovell Arena.
Weekly Games:
Games will take place at Lovell Arena at 6:20pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, & 7:40pm on Sunday nights from May 11th, 2025 - August 24th, 2025. Each team will play against the other teams in their division on a rotating schedule, ensuring everyone has a chance to face off against different opponents. Our experienced organizers, timekeepers, and referees are committed to ensuring a smooth and fair experience throughout the league. Their expertise will guarantee well-structured games and proper adherence to rules.
Fun and Competitive:
While we take the competition seriously, we prioritize fun and camaraderie. Our league is designed to provide a great experience both on and off the ice, promoting friendships and a love for the game.
