Frequently asked questions:

Q: Is there one jersey for all teams?

A: Yes, each jersey is reversible and will be used for future seasons as well. Socks will be included in the one-time uniform fee.

Q: How many players per team?

A: There will be a max of 14 skaters and 1 goalie per team.

Q: What is the cost?

A: The cost to skate is $375 for players, $100 for goalies, with an additional one-time uniform fee of $100 for new players.

Q: Will goalies be charged?

A: Yes, due to the implementation of GameSheet stats capturing goalie stats, including shots on net, there will be a new $100 fee for goalies this season.

Q: When will the league start?

A: The 2025 season will run from 5/11/24 - 8/24/24.

Q: How long are the games?

A: (3) 12-minute stop-time periods.

Q: Are there playoffs?

A: Yes, the final 2 weeks of the season will be playoff rounds.

Q: Is there OT?

A: If the game is tied after regulation time, there will be a 5 minute 3 on 3. If still tied after the 3 on 3, there will be a 3-man shootout. See SSDL Rules & Regulations for more information.

Q: Are face masks required?

A: At least a half-shield is required in this league, although a full-shield is strongly recommended. Please refer to the SSDL waiver that all players must sign prior to taking the ice.
